Milford has four cub Scout packs in town. Two are sponsored by churches, one by a Rod and Gun Club, and one by the Youth Center. You do not have to be part of any of these organizations to be in a pack.

The sponsor organizations hold the charter for the pack. Besides being a sponsor and supporting scouts they provide a place to have meetings.

The packs have many similarities do to the fact we are all part of Boy Scouts of America.
All four packs are part of the Knox Trail Council.

All Scouts in Milford, as well as across the country have the same requirements and achievements they must complete in order to earn their ranks and badges.
What makes each pack unique are the extras that each pack does, the people in the pack, and what it does for the requirements.

Pack 67 has a long standing Sponsorship with Sacred Heart Church.
You do not have to be a member of Sacred Heart Church to be a scout in Pack 67.
We have our Pack meetings on the 4th Tuesday of the month in the lower chapel room at 7:00pm.

Each year Pack 67 does:

At least one cabin overnight
At least one learning overnight i.e. Aquarium, Museum of Science etc.
The Pinewood Derby
Rain-gutter Regatta
Rocket Launch
The Blue and Gold Banquet
Year-end Family Picnic
There are hikes/nature walks
Sporting events
Participate in the Memorial Day Grave Flagging in support of fallen US service men and women.
We march in parades as well as events during the holidays.

The events listed above are not required to complete requirements for a rank or badge.
They are just some of the extras Pack 67 does throughout a given year. These events help to enrich the scouting experience.

Each den has their own meetings and events above and beyond the pack meeting.
Those dates are decided on by each den.

The most important thing to our Pack, is to have your son involved in scouting no matter which pack you choose.

Please E-mail one of our Pack Leaders with any questions.
